Not fond of the standalone strawberry? Fear not, you can easily and radically transform these delicate heart-shaped gems into decadent works of art in less than 30 minutes. To bolster the aphrodisiac qualities, simply dip the luscious fruit into dark chocolate that has been melted in a bain marie. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries With Pistachio

TIME: 30 minutes | YIELDS: 10-12 large strawberries

INGREDIENTS:

  • Box of long stemmed strawberries
  • 1 pack (~100g) of quality dark chocolate (> 70%),

METHOD:

  3. Once chocolate has melted, hold the stem of the strawberry and dip the strawberries one-by-one in the melting pot of chocolate goodness and rotate 360 degrees to ensure it is coated all over. Dark Chocolate Dipped Strawberries With Pistachio (9 of 46)

  5. Once complete, layer on the prepared roasting tray. Repeat the process for the other strawberries. Lush Dark Chocolate Figs with Sea Salt

Dark chocolate. Figs. Sea salt. Three deceptively simple ingredients. But combine these separate components together and some magic transpires. The figs are instantly transformed into a lush a decadent dessert that will not fail to impress your guests at your next dinner party. What’s more? The entire process will not take you longer than 30 minutes.

Note of warning: be careful not to “overkill” on the sea salt. Also, feel free to substitute the sea salt with crushed pistachio if you prefer.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 80g quality dark chocolate
  • 6 fresh figs
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt (or crushed pistachio if you prefer)

METHOD:

  2. Once melted, dip each fig individually in the chocolate, rotate 360 degrees until the fig is evenly coated. While chocolate is still liquid, sprinkle sea salt on top of fig (NB: be careful of overdoing it, as you don’t want the fig to be ‘too salty’). Rest coated fig on a tray lined with parchment paper.
